Yaruki and Mevdud, assigned by Sultan Nureddin to conquer Bakras Castle, face an unexpected event that angers the Sultan, leading to severe repercussions for those involved. Upon returning to Jerusalem, he's accused by the King of stealing the Kingdom's money and is harshly punished. Balian, after leaving Bakras, bids farewell to Saladin and returns to Ibelin to visit his brother's grave, planning to return to France. An unexpected sight challenges his resolve, but he remains determined despite his loved ones' wishes. Saladin returns to Cairo with Şemse, Latif, and Halil.
